Real Estate Equity Conversion Loans can be used to convert your real estate equity into cash. The money obtained through this loan product can be used to provide real estate owners, typically age 62 or older with supplemental income during their retirement years.
A Real Estate Equity Conversion Loan differs from other loans in that the payment stream is reversed. Instead of the borrower making payments to the lender, as with a conventional mortgage loan, the lender makes payments to the borrower. During the time a Real Estate Equity Conversion Loan is outstanding, the borrower owns the property and holds title to it without having to make any mortgage payments.
The following individuals are a "good fit" for a Real Estate Equity Conversion Loan:
