Please join us in welcoming William Joseph Welty Sr. to our Board of Directors. Mr. Welty, a Carrollton resident, was raised in Trimble County where he also attended high school. He also attended Georgetown College.
Previously, he was the owner of Welty Enterprise, Inc., worked at Rotary Lift, served in the U.S. Army reserves, and owned apartments, a restaurant and a donut shop.
He is a former mayor of Carrollton and a past Carrollton City Council member. He has served 16 years on the Northern Kentucky Area Development Board serving as chairman of the Kentucky Area Development Councils, eight years on the Carrollton Housing Authority Board, six years on the Carrollton Planning and Zoning Board, is a former U.S. Bank Advisory Board member.
