Our Mission
To be a locally owned community bank serving our communities by offering and delivering quality financial services to all customers at competitive rates. We are committed to active community involvement. We will strive to maintain financial soundness and stability while providing shareholders a reasonable return on their investment.

Board Vision
Foremost, the Board recognizes, understands and appreciates its roots! Lineage exists with several directors to the bank's origin in 1872. The Board is firmly entrenched in the first sentence of the Mission Statement "... To be a locally owned community bank...". We have no desire to be affiliated in any way with some large conglomerate where customers and employees become numbers and communities are abandoned for the almighty dollar. This Board, by choice, lives in, interacts with and cares for the communities we serve. It chooses to remain locally owned.
Our motto, "The Bank that Service Built", even though it alludes to the past and how we got here, also represents our ambitions. We don't ever want that statement to be wrong or a misstatement of fact. Not one year, ten years or another one hundred thirty years from now!
Next within our vision is to serve the communities of our immediate area. Serve is the key word. We want to ensure our products and services are what is needed, of quality, and provide a value to our customers.
We will continue our efforts of community development, providing seminars, discussions, and sponsoring field days, with the ambition of imparting helpful information to our neighbors and customers.
We have the duty to ensure, and all shareholders deserve a reasonable return on their investment. We can accomplish that without being extremists. We don't have to be the biggest, the highest priced, nor the cheapest. We can justly reward shareholders by offering quality products, making the right decisions, and following prudent procedures.
In summary, the Board's vision mirrors our Mission. Adherence to the fundamentals of our mission will result in us becoming the bank we would like to remain.
